■ Notes for applications

The copyright of winning works will belong to the organizers.(The winning works will be shown in print and on websites.)
The details of this contest may be changed or cancelled at the organizer’s discretion.
Submissions must include a previously unpublished Photo and Haiku made by the applicant, to which the applicant holds sole copyright.
Only submit photos that include people if you have obtained their consent and if they understand the photo may be published.

■ Personal information policy

Personal information submitted by applicants will be used for making contact and sending prizes. It will not be used for any other purpose, nor will it be made available to third parties without permission. After informing the winners, we will publish the name of the author (pen-name or real name), county and municipality. If it appears that the rules for applying have not been followed, the organizer may cancel any award given and the haiku will not be published.

■ Announcement

After the selection, winners will be informed by phone or email in early March 2019.
Prize-winners will be announced on the website.

■ Guidelines for English Haiku submitted to the Setouchi Matsuyama International Photo-Haiku Contest

When applying, provide your name (real name), country, municipality, phone number and email address. If this information is illegible, the submission will be excluded from judgement.
If the winner cannot be contacted in person by phone or email, the award will be cancelled.
